Maria Beach Hotel is located at Mavros Molos Beach, in Kissamos, 40 km from Chania city and 45 km from Chania Airport.

Kissamos, with a population of about 15,000, is a beautiful area of Crete with a long history, sealed with legends and traditions.

It is a hospitable tourist area that offers peace and tranquility away from the noises of the big cities.

Here the mountain is in harmony with the sea, traditional aspects with modern ones.

Kissamos, despite the tourist growth which it has received, has retained its scenic character. This way, the visitor has the opportunity to spend his vacation amongst the locals and get to know their customs and traditions through a series of rich cultural events organized during the tourist season. Alternative forms of tourism have also been developed in the area, which are an attraction for many visitors.

The area is also ideal for day trips to archaeological sites of rich natural beauty. You can visit the archaeological sites of Falassarna, Polyrene, the islands of Gramvousa (islands of pirates with a castle), the beautiful canyons of Sirikari, Pokkas and Topolia with the imposing cave of Agia Sophia, Agia Sofias.
